Considering the new title as the sport's Official Timekeeper, its Formula 1 and Connected lines would be more obvious picks when emphasizing the modern, technological aspects of the sport. As you can see, the brand has plenty of options to cater to the different types of F1 fans.
The reason for this? Although the dial features tri-compax-positioned counters, the red central direct-drive and tachymetric scale around the edge, it actually stood out from other models which were fashionable at the time through its blue nuances.
The latest to date, the Carrera Sport Chronograph 160 Years, each produced in 1,860 pieces, are reinterpretations of a model from 1965 boasting a sporty look, the "Dato 45", which stood out at the time in particular through its date set at 12 o’clock.
This sort of thing is real watchmaking and the caliber 400 is, especially in a watch like the Aquis Date, which retails for $3,500 on a bracelet, an extraordinary piece of added value for anyone who wants their sports watch to be as tough and reliable as it looks.
I wonder how much effort you put into making such a wonderful informative site.
They are the Patrouille de France, a world-renowned professional aero-acrobatic formation led by 9 pilots, based in the south-east of the country, with which Bell & Ross has just become officially associated.
The brothers behind Gronefeld, Bart and Tim, have a knack for stripping high horology of its pretense and bringing it down from the ivory tower, despite the massive fanfare surrounding their pieces. This model was introduced in 2016, and a unique version was entered to the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve that year. Now that unique piece has landed at Only Watch. It isn't technically a "new" watch, but with looks like this, it sure doesn't have to be.
A conventional complication to display EOT isn’t that complicated in reality: It would just show the mean solar time delta in ± minutes, and you’d have to add or subtract the minutes yourself to learn your true solar time. The 5887, however, uses a more complicated mechanism called Running Equation (“Equation Marchante” in French), which employs two minute hands to show both mean and true solar times simultaneously.
In one case, we had a customer who wanted a Tonneau with a big twist: It was a watch with a movement that works, but no hands. So you don't know the time. And by looking at it, you can say "I'm not the slave of time. The watch knows; I don't want to know. I want to be in control of my own time." We'll not do another one. But if someone else asks something similar, it can make sense.
And that was kind of it. If you know the model range, you know this watch. There's nothing more to say about the 40mm case, the bi-color Cerachrom bezel, the 70-hour power reserve in the chronometer-grade 3285 caliber, or the Rolex bracelets with Easy Link extension. All of that remains. The only thing left for me to do was wear the thing – really experience it. And so I did.
Bulgari introduced its first Carbon Gold watch in 1993, and now it's bringing a carbon case to the Octo Finissimo in both an automatic and perpetual calendar. Both feature an anthracite-colored carbon case and bracelet with a matte finish. The "gold" comes from the rose gold crown, set with a black ceramic insert. This is complemented by matching rose-colored hands and indices on the carbon dial. Both cases measure 40mm in diameter and, true to the Finissimo name, are ultra-thin.
This particular is usually apparently essential and moreover outstanding truth along with for sure fair-minded and moreover admittedly useful My business is looking to find in advance designed for this specific useful stuffs…

The sibling to SBGZ005 is housed in a marginally larger case; SBGW260 is 38mm in diameter (I would say that I defy anyone to tell the difference with the two watches in hand, but I bet there are enthusiasts out there who could do it). While SBGZ005 uses a top-of-the-line hand-wound Spring Drive movement, SBGW260 uses the mechanical, hand-wound caliber 9S64.
The Bronze Gold distinguishes itself in a couple of other ways from its steel brethren. You’ll notice the seconds hand takes the classic arrow shape as opposed to the lollipop (maybe that's why it’s my favorite), and the bezel is made from brown ceramic. Even the dial is different. It too is made from bronze – though that’s difficult to discern from the naked eye. We’ll take Omega’s word for it.
Taylor's next project is an ambitious one. He plans to take a historic hi-beat, flyback chronograph movement apart, redesign the bridges and balance components to make them better, and spend roughly three months hand-finishing each movement. The case, dial, and hands will all be built around the movement. It's a massive undertaking, but it ties into Taylor's other near-term goal: Educating folks and spreading his obsession.
